Haunted Doll Collection (Elizabeth and the Ouija Board)

doll3 (2)We are nearing the end of my haunted doll collection serials, so I thought it’s time to talk about one of the creepier of my dolls. Elizabeth has the creepiest back ground of all my dolls, which leaves my still unsure of this doll. The doll does sort of gives me the creeps and her eyes look freaky as hell, but I’ve never had any trouble with the doll, so I think she’s safe enough to have in the house.

doll 13 (2)I was given Elizabeth by a friend, after they done the one thing you should never do with a haunted doll, which is to play Ouija board with the doll. This was so dangerous, because the spirit attached to the doll could be dangerous or they could have accidentally let something dangerous into the doll. I really don’t know why my friend thought playing Ouija board with a haunted doll would be a good idea, in the first place. Things could have ended a lot worse than they did and they could have got really hurt.

To explain what happened to my friend and the doll, I think I should start at the beginning of the dolls history. According to the dolls seller, this doll was used in séances and different rituals, which lead to the doll being haunted by the spirit of a middle age woman called Elizabeth, that died suddenly in an accident. If I was buying a doll and the seller said this, I think I’d run a mile and not buy the doll. My friend on the other hand did buy it and I honestly can’t understand why, because it screams evil demonic doll.

doll 13Some time after getting the doll, my friend decided they would play Ouija board with the doll. This went horrible wrong for my friend. I wasn’t there, so I can only repeat what my friend told me. While playing Ouija, my friend asked the spirit attached to the doll, how it died and according to my friend, the dolls started to shake and its eyes began to glow. This scared the life out of my friend so they quickly said goodbye and closed the gate.

After this, my friend thought it be a good idea to try to give the doll to me. When I heard, what happened with the doll, it’s safe to say I definitely didn’t want it, unless it was checked out by someone who knew a lot more about haunted dolls than me. After a bit of web searching, we found a guy that does paranormal investigations and claims to be able to get rid of unwanted or evil spirits. We took the doll to him to check out and he thought the doll was harmless and posed no threat, but done a cleanse on the doll anyway.  Since the doll was deemed safe, I decided to keep the doll. However, to be on the safe side, I keep the doll in a special locked cabinet, designed to hold haunted objects.

Haunted Doll Collection (Peek-a-boo Lucy)

doll3 (2)A few years ago, I very naively bought 3 haunted dolls from eBay. Of these 3 dolls and only still have 1, Peek-a-boo Lucy. The other 2 were too creepy and some messed up stuff happened after I took them into my house. I didn’t feel comfortable with them in the house so I sold one of the dolls and buried the other in the back garden.

doll 15 (2)

Lucy is the only one of these dolls I kept and is one of the more unusual haunted dolls I own. She does something I’ve never experience with any of my other dolls. When you have haunted dolls, mild activity or mild creepy occurences isn’t that shocking and is kind of expected. But what is shocking and unexpected, is the doll disappearing from were you left her and reappearing somewhere else in the house.

This is why I call her Peek-a-boo Lucy. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve left Lucy on her spot on the shelf, then went about my business and later found her in some other room of the house. Weirder still, once I found her behind the sofa and I definitely wouldn’t keep dolls there.

doll 16 (2)

This doll is actually a creep and has gave me numerous jump scares. I walk into a room and she’s there, usually by the window, standing like she’s looking outside and because it’s so unexpected, I usually nearly jump out of my skin. After nearly having a heart attack, I realise how creepy it would look, if someone walked passed the window and seen a doll staring out at them. So I put her back in the spare room and hope she don’t move again.

The only way I’ve been able to keep her in one place, is to keep her in a locked display cabinet. Otherwise, I go into the spare room where I keep most of my dolls, and find that she is gone. Then I end up going on a doll haunt through my house to find her and sometimes this is not easy. Especially when she hidden under or behind something.

This doll really has a thing for hide and seek. I’m just waiting for her to turn up in the car someday or to look out the window and see her staring back at me from the neighbours house. This really wouldn’t surprise me and I think as long as I have her, I’ll be in an endless game of Peek-a-boo with Lucy.

Haunted Doll Collection (Annie)

doll3 (2)Annie is by far one of my creepiest dolls. I use to keep her in my room, but she was just too creepy and I had to move her to the cabinet in the spare room. When she was in my room, I use to wake up at night and see her eyes glowing from the other side of the room. The fact she has smokey eyes made this all the creepier and made me feel so uneasy.  It was like she was watching me sleep or something and in the darkness her eyes looked like creepy vampire eyes. I couldn’t sleep with her in the room, so I had to move her to the other room.

doll 5

I’ve had Annie for years now and found her in the attic of a house my Grandparents had just moved into. My grandmother let keep her because I helped her move in and unpack. I was never told by anyone that Annie was haunted, but I class her as haunted, simple because of the messed up things that have happened around this doll.

For example, her self-removing hat. I keep Annie in a locked show cabinet, which I only have the key for. Every time I put her in the cabinet, I place her on the top shelf, in her stand with her hat firmly on. I lock the cabinet, check everything is fine and leave the room. Then 50% of the time, when I come back her hat is gone and I have to open the cabinet and go looking for it. Weirdest thing is that I usually find the hat under something in the cabinet, which leaves me wondering how the hell if got there. This happens regular about 3-4 times a week and is quite annoying.

The second reason I believe this doll to be doll 17 (2)haunted is, the scratches on the cabinet I keep her in. This is so creepy. The scratches are on the inside of door, at the dolls arm level and are all vertical.  I don’t have a clue how they got there, but it looks like the doll was trying to scratch its way out. Also since I got Annie, I’ve been hearing footsteps upstairs in the bedrooms, which I never happened before.

Every time I’m in the room with this doll, I feel like I’m being watched and her eyes seem to follow you around the room. On occasion I’ve looked at the doll, her month has changed position. Her months usually open with 2 teeth showing, but a good few times I’ve looked and her teeth aren’t showing and her month isn’t opened as wide. She just so creepy and gives of an uneasy feeling. But I’ve had worse experiences with these types of dolls, so I’ll keep her.

Haunted Doll Collection (Susie)

doll3 (2)Since I was a child I have loved dolls and over the years I’ve gathered quite the collection. Unfortunately, I could not fit all my dolls in the picture above, so I decided to include a few of my favourite dolls and most of my haunted dolls in the picture. Most of the dolls I either found or was given, so because of this I have some really unusual and creep looking dolls. Among these dolls there is a few special and unique dolls, that are said to be “haunted”.  As I find these dolls very interesting, I thought I would share the stories of some of these dolls and I am going to start with my oldest and very first haunted doll Susanna or Susie as I call her.

doll 7

Susie use to belong to a lady (Miss Whyte) who babysat me and my brother, when we were children. Miss Whyte had a beautiful collection of dolls. I use to spend hours just looking at them and is where my love of dolls began. The best thing about being babysat by Miss Whyte was that, she let me play with the dolls, if I promised to be really careful.

Susie was my favourite out of the collection because she was so different from all the other dolls and looked like an actually little girl. Whenever given the chance to play with the dolls, I would always choose her. It was great, I loved playing with Susie and this quickly became obvious to everyone else.

When I was older, I was visiting Miss Whyte with my mum and I asked her if she still had the doll and in passing, Miss Whyte told me something I found slightly creepy about the doll. Miss Whyte bought Susie at a car boot sale from a woman that claimed, the original owner was a little girl, who died of scarlet fever and that the little girl spirit was attached to the doll. Miss Whyte didn’t believe in ghost or hauntings, so bought it anyway. Knowing this, kind of creeps me out, because when someone says a doll belongs to a little dead girl, all I think about is a creepy demon child inside the doll. Nevertheless, when Miss Whyte gave me the doll as a gift, I accepted it anyway because I couldn’t say no is a sweet old lady and I still liked the doll.

I’ve had Susie for over 10 years now and I’m still not a 100% if the doll is haunted, but a few unusual things have happened over the years around the doll. One of the very first things I noticed about this doll is that you can’t photograph her without the picture being slightly bleary. I’ve tried using camera stands and everything and the picture is still slightly bleary. It’s really weird and I don’t know why this happens, but it happens every time.

doll 8

The creepiest thing that happened with Susie was, when I was dusting and set Susie in the middle of my bed, beside a haunted doll I had just bought on eBay. I left the room to get a clean dust cloth and when I came back Susie was at the opposite side of the room and her leg had somehow fallen off. This creeped the hell out of me because dolls can’t move 10 feet across a room by themselves and rip of their own leg. I really don’t know how it happened, but safe to say I quickly sold the other doll just in case it had something to do with it. Other than that, nothing extremely creepy has happened around Susie. Occasionally, things like my dog statue and jewellery move from where I let them, but nothing big or shocking.

Susie is my favourite dolls in my collection, but is not the creepiest of my haunted dolls. I’m saving that for my next post. I hope you enjoyed reading about Susie and if you have any stories of your own about haunted dolls or objects, please feel free to share in the comments.

Rick and Morty

95c2a71f-c471-4dce-88b7-63497d1fea4c_2 (2)

Where can I watch this: Netflix (Seasons 1&2)

Rick and Morty is an adult cartoon serials, filled with adult humour and crazy adventures. It’s about a crazy scientist (Rick), who turns up at his daughter’s house after years of not hearing from him, which somehow leads to him living with her and her family. He quickly pairs up with her son (his grandson) Morty and they go on crazy but hilarious adventures together, throughout the universe and other dimensions using a portal gun.

When I first seen this show was on Netflix, I have to admit I wasn’t going to watch it because I thought it was other painfully not funny comedy, and would be awful to even watch. I was so wrong and learnt an important lesson about judging a show before I gave it a fair try and watch it. I love this show and regret not watching it sooner.

This show is hilarious and I have to say I actually like it better than Family Guy, even though it’s not as rude or wild as Family Guy. Rick is also a bit of a jerk and I think may be an alcoholic or something like that, but he’s still hilarious and one of my favorite characters. He’s always pulling Morty along on his adventures, which usually don’t end well and when he’s not doing this, he’s making some type of mad, dangerous invention, in his daughters garage., which also never ends well. This has even ended in he causing a mutant apocalypse in one of the dimensions he existed in. Basically Rick is the cause of most of the families troubles, especially Morty’s and is why the show is so good.

I would really recommend this show, if you are looking something funny and easy to watch, which doesn’t take up to much of your time. It’s a really good show and will put a smile on your face in no time. However, I would not recommend letting children watch it as it is mildly rude (compared to other shows of this kind, I’ve watched) and would be inappropriate for young eyes. I can’t wait for season 3 to be on Netflix, so I can watch episodes back to back, giggling uncontrollably at the antics of Rick and Morty.

Rating: 4/5

I hope you enjoyed this post and my creepy drawing (I can’t draw faces on my people without ruining my drawings and making people look like their faces were stuck in a vacuum cleaner and this horribly disfigured them. So I leave them faceless).

If you would like me to create more posts of this kind, please let me know in the comments and like this post.

Also if you have any shows/videos/movies you’d like me to watch and give my honest option on, feel free to let me know in the comments and I’ll try my best to watch it for you and give you feedback on it.

Sunday Fun in an Irish Village

Busy weekend, having fun at the village fun day (even if the temperature was close to freezing). Here in Ireland we really know how to have a good time and when we hold fun day everyone comes to join in the games and activities.

3The fun kicked of with a good old fight of strength. Basically 2 people challenge each other and fight over a log (kind of like how 2 children fight over a toy). Whoever let’s go first loses. Not as easy as it looks because that log is heavy as hell. I couldn’t even life it.

New Phototastic Collage2There was also a petting zoo, where you could stroke giant white rat looking creatures and dangerous birds of prey (I’m not joking you were allowed to hold and pet the birds. Hence why the Barn owl in missing in the picture. The handler had it out for people to hold and pet). Luckily first aiders and an ambulance crew were on stand by to deal with any bites or scratches.

New Phototastic Collage.jpgNext there was old Celtic board games, which were hand-made and looked beautiful. Most of these were played with shells or stones and were pretty similar to modern games like draughts/checkers and that game with the marbles. Also the pieces of the chest board were made out of stale dough which was kind of cool. Being the best Auntie in the world, I took my nephew to the fun day because he really wanted to go and he absolutely loved it. He won 5 times at the board games and he thought he was awesome and the wee smug smile on his face was priceless.

20170305_142559If board games and animals won’t your thing, there was plenty of other entertainment and activities to keep you busy and entertained, such as a live country band playing traditional  Irish music, a massive climbing wall and tall man/magician. There was also a ton of stalls offering face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon modeling, caricatures and dressing up. Plus everything was free including food and tea and coffee, so you could easy take the whole family and not spend a penny. However, these fun days are not always free and sometimes you even have to pay to get into the place.

5Also at the event, there was even arts and crafts so there was literally something for everyone. As it was Celtic themed, my nephew and I decided to do celtic designs of our stones. I drew a face out of Celtic designs on mine, to make it look like a forest spirit and my nephew drew the gold ninja from Ninjago, however I was not worthy of photographing it so I don’t have a picture. Instead I have this really cool drawing of my nephew at the fun day.

4Near the end of the day there was spear throwing from man pulled carts, greens vs reds. I’m pleased to say the reds won by a land slide. But in saying that I think the target was only hit a handful of times overall, so probably isn’t the easiest game to play and I have to give it to the green team for effort. I apologise for the guy standing in the way in the photos. No matter where I stood to take photos that guy was in frame.

20170305_155049The day was ended with a good old feast (which was also free) Celtic style.

Overall the day was really enjoyable for both my nephew and me. We both had a great day, throughly enjoyed yourselves and it got us both out of the house. This was a really big deal for me considering I’ve been suffering gratefully with anxiety lately and was finding it hard to even build up the courage to leave the house, even to do simple everyday things. However knowing how much my nephew wanted to go and how much he would enjoy himself, I couldn’t disappoint him. He would have been heart-broken if I told him no and he never asks for much, so I just had to take him despite freaking out inside.

Anyway these type of fun day and festival are usually really enjoyable, so if you ever find yourself in Ireland, I would really recommend going to one if you get the chance.

Hope you all enjoyed the change from my drawings.

My Top 10 YouTube Channels

b4a69219-53a8-4725-a008-fd7001e2e49f_1I love YouTube and spend hours watching random videos. However, I find myself watching quite a lot of videos belonging to the same channels. So for you guys I’ve listed my top 10 YouTube channels. Enjoy!

  1. Cayleigh Elise
  2. Facts
  3. Explose Entertainment
  4. Screen Junkies
  5. Talking Kitty Cat
  6. Watch Cut Video(recently changed to hiho Kids)
  7. Crash Course
  8. Cinema Sins
  9. The Chen News
  10. Facts Verse

Cayleigh Elise- I can spend hours binge watching this channel. It’s full of videos about mysteries, murder, paranormal and the unknown. It’s my go to place for spooks and creepiness, when I’m in one of those moods and fancy creeping myself out. I love the host Cayleigh, she really good at delivering the stories and really pulls you in.

Facts- This is my favorite watch people be fed gross or unusual food and experience new things for money channels on YouTube. I probably like this channel so much because the videos I watch are mainly about irish people trying stuff for the first time, so I can connect the participants on that level. The reactions of the participants are hilarious and the stuff they are made eat or do can be a bit extreme which makes it very entertaining, even if they refuse to do it.

Explose Entertainment– Also known as cyanide and happiness. These cartoons are hilarious. They’re  great for when all you need is a good laugh and there only a few minutes long so great for procrastinating. They can be a bit silly and rude at times, but trust me they’ll have you giggling to yourself in no time.

Screen Junkies- I love honest trailers so much. Basically these videos take the mickey out of movies in a really funny way and I find them hilarious. I’ve even watched honest trailers for movies I really love and enjoy and I still find myself laugh uncontrollably. It’s a really good channel if you’re looking for a laugh or a pick me up.

Talking Kitty Cat Something about an evil talking cat that is plotting to get rid of his owner’s other cats and dog, really appeals to me. I find this kitty so funny because although he is really evil, he’s either to lazy to carry out his plans to destroy the other pets or gets it distracted by wet cat food. These videos are not for children but, because the cat swears a lot and gives out some really messed up threats to the other pets.

Watch Cut Video(recently changed to hiho Kids)- This channel is really cute. It’s about really cute children try foods from around the world. The children’s reaction to the food is priceless however, that’s not why I like this channel so much. The children play around and don’t do what the camera man wants which is really funny and some of the children’s rants about the food are hilarious.

Crash Course- I mainly watch the psychology videos on this channel and is where I go to learn about psychology. I like this channel because I’m really interested in psychology (probably because I want to workout what the hell is wrong with myself) and these videos teach psychology related things in a really fun and interesting way, that even I can understand.

Cinema Sins- I love this channels Everything wrong with videos about movies, music videos and TV show, they are so funny. It very similar to screen junkie’s  honest trailers as it also takes the mickey in the same kind of way however, its more about the mistakes made, plot holes and things that don’t make sense in movies, music videos and TV shows and counts them in the form of sins. These videos are great for when you hate a movie or a show but can’t work out why.

The Chen News- I haven’t really watched this since Dan left the channel however, I thought I’d put this on the list because at one point this was the main channel I watched on YouTube and my main source of world news. It’s hosted by a guy called Mike, that has a lot of other YouTube channels, like his food channel and his opinion channel (he changed the names after Dan left so I’m not sure what they’re called now). Mike provides a less sugar-coated version of news stories and topic choice is usually really good and interesting.

Facts Verse- This channel does count down videos on random things. Out of all the channels I’ve watched that does this type of thing, I would have to say this channel is my favorite. For some reason this channel stands out to me and I find it just that bit better than other similar channels. This is probably because the topic choices appeal more to my interests and the delivery of the count down I feel is a lot better than similar channels.

Creepy Dream or Was it Real

d57e7456-e1d3-446b-85e0-d0fdb3ea38fbThought I’d try something new and instead of blogging about a movie or show, I would tell you guys about a very creepy dream I had, that I’m not 100% was even a dream. I was sleeping in my bedroom in my uni flat when I woke up for no reason at all. I looked at my phone for the time and it was 3:35am. I was about to roll over onto my back and go back to sleep, when I got this really uneasy feeling like someone was watching me. Having to check if I was just imagining things or if there was someone in my room, I slowly rolled onto my back as this would allow me to check all sides of the room, without getting up or alarming whoever maybe watching me. I checked all around the room for signs of an intruder, making sure to carefully check the wardrobe, but there was no sign of anyone.

I had a little giggle to myself at how silly this whole thing was, but then my eyes were drawn to the right corner of the ceiling, opposite my bed. It looked like there was a black mass shaped like a person sitting in the spider-man pose in the corner of the ceiling. It didn’t have a face but it still felt like it was looking at me. I lay there staring at the corner of the ceiling and thought to myself that looks creepy as hell but there’s bound to be a reasonable explanation for it, like a shadow being created by something  outside. It was then that the shadow started moving towards me, crawling on the ceiling.

At this point I was completely bricking it and I pulled the covers over my head, in a really bad attempt to hide (like why did I even think that would work. The creature would clearly know the large bump in the covers was me).  I lay hiding under the covers, trying to work out how I would escape from this creature. It was then I remembered what is said on every paranormal TV show I’ve watched, that these things feed on and get the energy to do harm from your fear. In my head this meant, if I relaxed and completely ignored the creature, it would go away, so I try this (which wasn’t easy considering I was expecting it to jump on me at any minute and tear me to pieces).

If this wasn’t a dream, I must have fallen asleep because I woke up in the morning with my head under the covers. Either ignoring the creature worked because I wasn’t attacked and it wasn’t there in the morning, or it was all just a dream. I really don’t know, but it all seemed so real. All I can tell you is that I haven’t seen the creature since.
